Kawasaki, Japan – Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, cooperating with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (DICV) under the umbrella of Daimler Trucks Asia, today announced it has launched its FUSO brand light-medium and medium-heavy-duty trucks in Latin American country Trinidad and Tobago, and in the growing Asian market of Cambodia.
This launch of light-medium and medium-heavy-duty trucks in Trinidad and Tobago is the debut of the FUSO brand in Latin America. With this launch, MFTBC will expand its truck market into Latin America. At a presentation by local distributor Diamond Motors, ‘FA and ‘FI’ light-medium trucks, and the ‘FJ’ medium-heavy-duty truck, were introduced to over 100 customers and government officials, and the quality and finish of these FUSO brand trucks were highly praised.
In Asia, the light-medium ‘FA’ and ‘FI’, and medium-heavy-duty ‘FJ’ were launched in Cambodia. With these new FUSO brand trucks, MFTBC will expand market share in the country. This launch is the first time ever the company has exported FUSO brand left-hand drive vehicles. MFTBC will also plans to supply FUSO brand left-hand trucks to Laos in the near future.
MFTBC plans to further enhance its global launch of FUSO brand left-hand drive vehicles.

Expand cutting-edge FUSO brand trucks all over the world
FUSO brand trucks are designed to meet the needs of customers. Five types of trucks have been launched across the globe to give customers a wide range of choice: medium-duty trucks ‘FA’ and ‘FI’, with gross vehicle weights of 9 to 16 tons; heavy-duty trucks ‘FJ’ and ‘FO’, with gross vehicle weights of 25 tons or more; and heavy-duty truck ‘FZ’, with a connected vehicle weight of 49 tons.
They are manufactured at the Oragadam plant of DICV, an affiliate company of Daimler AG, Germany.
They offer high durability that has been proven through strict driving tests.
