A career at FUSO is the heart and soul of production and innovation.

A lot of hard work and effort goes into making a truck. While AI capabilities and automation are becoming increasingly important in the production process, cool efficiency of computer power needs to be balanced with warmth and soul.

At Mitsubishi Fuso, our people provide this warmth and are the heart of our success, excelling in wide-ranging jobs, from skilled technical roles to creative HR marketing positions. Their dedication and passion truly drive us forward, making all the difference in our journey.

We spoke to several of our employees at different stages of their FUSO careers to find out about their proudest moments and how they make a difference in their work.

“My proudest moments at FUSO come when witnessing the success of my team. I feel like the best way for me to make a difference in my work is by empowering people to speak up—even when they feel uncertain—creating an environment of open communication and growth.”

EKATERINA BARANOVA | Global Communications

“I take a great deal of pride in contributing to the creation of trucks. The vehicles and products we produce play an essential role in everyday life. I’m able to do this while achieving goals with my colleagues and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. For me, communication, sincerity, continuous learning, and keeping a positive and cheerful attitude is the key to success.”

NORIYO NISHIMURA | Operations Trucks

“The thing that brings me the most pride is seeing our FUSO vehicles on the streets. By diligently focusing on and perfecting each task, no matter big or small, I believe I’m able to steadily contribute to our company’s success.”

SHOHEI OHBA | Operations Trucks

“My proudest moment at FUSO has been developing and implementing our “eLab” for electrical systems and high-voltage hands-on advanced safety training. This innovative approach was a first for automotive training in Japan and was featured in various articles by Japanese press. I’m in charge of eCanter and high-voltage safety training for our international markets. I feel a great sense of responsibility for ensuring the safety of regional trainers and, consequently, the EV technicians in the markets. Electric vehicle safety is our top priority at FUSO Academy!”

ERIC RICHARD WEISSER | FUSO Academy
